2010 Phoenix AM Trash Jam went off without a hitch. Held each year at Peoria’s RIO VISTA sports complex this years contest was a nice switch with the addition of the “Trash Jam” bringing everything such as a refrigerator, some file cabinets, a diving board, a motorcycle and a 99 Honda accord and even a full size NBA Jams video game.

Day one was the qualifiers with a field of 159, riders were given one minute run with a four man four minute jam that followed there runs. Only 38 would advance to the semi finals with only ONE of them receiving the Golden Ticket, a free pass to the finals. Of the 38 riders only 12 would advance to the finals.

Curren Caples was the winner of this years “Golden Ticket” advancing him to the finals, but was not this years winner! From 11^th place going in to the semi finals Ishod Wair finished strong to claim this years PHOENIX AM TRASH JAM first place prize. At age 18 Ishod traveled to this years event from Bordentown, NJ. Riding for Real, Spitfire, Thunder, Nike SB, Fourstar and Reign Skate Shop Ishod Wair will be someone we will see a lot more of in the near future.

ON A FINAL NOTE, This years field was a tough one Only 2 riders from AZ made it into the final 12, Aaron Homoki aka JAWS who took 4^th place and Robbie Brockel who took 6^th place GOOD JOB GUYS WAY TO REPRESENT FOR ARIZONA.
